Presentation:
Vertiv’s Avocent brand pioneered solutions that addressed the unique requirements of the high-performance space:
lossless video, hi-res video, precise mouse control, support for tablets and touchscreens, and copper plus fiber network requirements.

The Avocent HMX is the latest in their IP-based high-performance KVM extension and switching solutions that utilizes standard gigabit IP network technology.

HMX can scale in single-port increments seamlessly while removing the limitations of traditional matrix solutions through an intuitive and innovative user interface.

General Information:
Chapter 58’s meetings are generally held on the third Thursday of each month. Information pertaining to meeting topics and locations can be found on this page, on our home page, and in monthly e-mail updates from our Chapter Chairperson. In the past, meetings generally were not held in April (due to the NAB convention), or during the summer months.

Through the generosity of our local-level Sustaining Members, Chapter 58 hosts an annual golf outing in July, and a Holiday Party in December.

If you have an idea for a monthly meeting, please let us know!
